Andrew L. Harris Jr., born and raised in Lugoff, South Carolina, is a U.S. Army veteran whose passion for cooking has always been rooted in love, service, and family. His inspiration began in the kitchen with his grandmother, who insisted on eating only the chicken he prepared—seasoned just the way she loved it. That moment planted the seed for a deeper connection between food, care, and comfort.

 

Andrew’s journey took a life-changing turn when he was diagnosed with high blood pressure, which ultimately resulted in a stroke. What followed was a challenging two-year rehabilitation process focused on relearning cognitive and motor skills. During recovery, cooking became both therapy and purpose—proof that healing and flavor could coexist.

 

Born from resilience and a deep love for feeding others, Andrew’s seasoning reflects his commitment to health-conscious cooking without compromising taste. He finds joy in watching people savor each bite, knowing the food he prepared brought comfort, connection, and genuine enjoyment. Today, as a veteran and community-driven leader, Andrew continues to serve—one thoughtfully seasoned meal at a time.
